PB & J Overnight Oats

what you’ll need:

for oatmeal base:

-1/3 cup gluten free oats (I used quick oats)

-1 tablespoon chia seeds

-1 cup cashew or almond milk

-1/2 tablespoon peanut butter

--natural sweeetener of your choice (optional)

-1 scoop collagen protein (or protein of your choice)

-dash of cinnamon

-toppings: 1/2 tablespoon peanut butter, 1 tablespoon chia jam

for jam:

-1 cup strawberries, stems removed

-1 tablespoon honey

-1/2 tablespoon chia seeds

how- to:

for overnight oat base:

-combine all ingredients in a glass tupperware or mason jar and stir until well combined. Let sit in the fridge overnight (4-5 hours minimum) to soak up liquid

for strawberry-chia jam-

-in a food processor, pulse strawberries and honey until well pureed and then stir in chia seeds and let sit for 10 minutes or store in an airtight container in fridge until ready to enjoy!

-in the morning, or when ready to eat, remove from fridge- heating up is optional! It tastes just as good cold! Top with peanut butter, some jam and whatever else your heart desires! :) ENJOY
